fConstruct - An Online Job Costing and Bill of Materials Software Package

fConstruct is an online Job Costing and Bill of Materials web application that allows you create assemblies from a parts or components database. An assembly is anything that is made from other sub-assemblies and parts and is usually a finished product, job quote or service. A part is anything that you use in your business to make a product offering. The software allows you to manage purchasing from parts suppliers and sales to customers and includes functions for stockcontrol, picking lists, a knowledge base, a search engine and reporting.

How does it work?

fConstruct is a web based application which means all you need is a computer with a web browser and an internet connection to access your account. It is easy to use with no software download or install needed and since it is web based, it is accessible anywhere you have an internet connection and you automatically get new features and updates as they are released, free of charge. To set up an account, simply register and await activation details in your email.

What can it do?

fConstruct offers a simple interface which allows you to manage your suppliers and customers by allowing you to create and place orders with suppliers, build a parts database which can then be used to build assemblies or products that you sell to customer through sales orders. You can define define how a final product is built from individual parts, labour costs and components from your parts catalogue. Once the product is defined, it can be used and sold over and over again. Costs are automatically calculated at each point of construction.
