To be launched May/June 2009, fConstruct is an online Bill of Materials type application with the ability to build sub-assemblies, intermediate assemblies and full assemblies that make up a final item, product or project, from basic parts, materials, quantities and costs. It has hundreds of applications since the end item can be almost anything where several items need to come together to build a end product.

fConstruct is a web based application so all you need is a computer with a web browser and an internet connection to access your projects. It is easy to use with no software download needed and since it is web based, you automatically get new features and updates as they are released, free of charge. To set up an account, simply register and await activation details in your email.

From DIY projects at home to major construction or fabrication projects in industry, fConstruct offers a simple interface which allows you to define how a final item is build from individual parts, labour and components. At home, the final item could be a house extension, in industry the final item may be the chassis for a motor vehicle. In both cases, fConstruct allows you to define sub parts and structures and how they are organised to build the final item, in a simple heirarchical/tree like structure.
